After scoring a magnificent brace in the Champions League final, Gareth Bale’s Real Madrid career seemed to take a turn around for good. However, since then, things have gone from bad to worse for the Welshman. He is dropped from the Real Madrid squad, almost every time and faces constant flak from fans on and off the pitch. As a result, Bale seems to have lost his motivation to play football. The world of football is on the brink of losing a fantastic footballer.

Gareth Bale has more goals and trophies for Real Madrid than Zidane, Luis Figo and the Brazilian Ronaldo had managed. Yet, the Welsh forward faces a barrage of criticism. More recently, Real Madrid has made its intentions clear to get rid of the Welshman. It will be a shame if a player like Bale’s career ends on a sour note.

Where did it all go wrong?

Bale’s Los Blanco’s career started on a very bright note. The Welsh forward scored in the Champions League and Copa del Rey finals in his first season, both of which Real Madrid won. However, despite many iconic performances, Bale never seemed to feel at home in a Madrid shirt.

More recently Bale has lost all interest in playing football for Real Madrid. The relationship between the club and the player is at an all-time low. Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane recently, indirectly stated that Bale has no future in Madrid. So, what lies in the future for the Welsh superstar?

Greener Pastures

Last Season, Bale seemed to be on his way to China. But now, the Welshman is a prisoner in Madrid. However, a move to China will not be something football fans would want to see. Bale may be at the tail end of his career but, everyone would wish that a player of Bale’s calibre stays in Europe.

More recently, Gareth Bale’s links with former club Tottenham, are making the headlines. For all the football romantics this move would make the perfect story. Football fans around the world would love to see Bale back in the Premier League with a club where he is loved and respected.
